How Far Along:  14 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss:
Probably 8 lbs. Starting Crossfit again this week.

Stretch Marks: Nope. Slathering my Tummy Butter from head to toe!

Sleep: Sleeping like a rock!

Best Moment This Week: Getting good news in our house hunt search.

Miss Anything? Wine, cocktails, beer, and caffeine. Just being honest.

Food Cravings: Still haven't really had any.

Anything Make You Queasy or Sick: Thankfully, no.

13th Week Update!

We are in the middle of moving - so packing, navigating through teaching high school for the first time, and my second job have all consumed me. Without further delay...the 13 week update!!

How Far Along:  13 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss:
Probably 8 lbs. Definitely going back to Crossfit this week. Not off to a good start.

Maternity Clothes: A few pieces, just because buttoning my pants just doesn't feel comfortable anymore.

Stretch Marks: Nope.

Sleep: I have been sleeping primarily on my side and back, and have been sleeping well…except for the fact that I wake up in the middle of the night, every night, to pee.

Best Moment This Week: Finding out Baby E is a boy! I still can't believe it. I feel like I need it confirmed.

Miss Anything? Wine, cocktails, beer, and caffeine. Just being honest.

Movement This Week: Nothing yet. I can’t wait to start feeling movement, though!

Food Cravings: Haven't really had any.

Anything Make You Queasy or Sick: Thankfully, no.

Have You Started to Show Yet: A little. I feel like it pops out more at night. Mostly I just feel fat...ha!

Gender: B-o-y!

Symptoms: Had one night last week where I got sick in the middle of the night out of nowhere. Feeling a little hormonal - but having to move and pack up your life into cardboard boxes is enough to stress anyone out, pregnant or not. Very emotional weekend.

Labor Signs: NO...and let's keep it that way for a long time ;)

Belly Button IN or OUT: In.

Wedding Rings ON or OFF: On. :)

Looking Forward To: My next v
acation. Rough week, yo.

11 Week Update

How Far Along:  11 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss:
Just came back from a month-long vacation in Greece. I have ZERO desire to weigh myself because I am sure that I probably gained 20 pounds between all the gyros and French fries. I’ll weigh myself in a few weeks when I get back on track. Was at 128 around the time I
conceived.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet.

Stretch Marks: Nope.

Sleep: I have been sleeping primarily on my side and back, and have been sleeping well…except for the fact that I’m already waking up in the middle of the night to pee.

Best Moment This Week: Coming back home to our own bed and our Luna.

Miss Anything? Wine, cocktails, beer, and caffeine. Just being honest.

Movement This Week: Nothing yet. I can’t wait to start feeling movement, though!

Food Cravings: Before I found out I was pregnant, I was on a seaweed kick that came out of nowhere. That phase is over. While in Greece, I was trying to find a proper Caesar salad for a couple days, but I wouldn’t consider it a craving…just something I had in my head that I wanted.
Anything Make You Queasy or Sick: Thankfully, no. Earlier in my pregnancy, if I had an empty stomach, I’d feel like crap. But lately, if I get queasy, it comes out of nowhere and lasts for a very short time. Thank God.

Have You Started to Show Yet: Yes, but it varies from day to day. Sometimes I feel like I’m showing as if I’m further along than I am. But I blame it on all the food I’ve been eating and all the traveling which bloats me normally.

Gender: No idea – we’re dying to know, though!

Symptoms: Sporadic short bouts of nausea and tightness in my abdomen. Feeling good, though!

Labor Signs: NO...and let's keep it that way for a long time ;)

Belly Button IN or OUT: In.

Wedding Rings ON or OFF: On. :)

Looking Forward To: My next appointment on Monday! Last time was in Greece, I was 8 weeks, Jordan was with me, and we heard the heart beat. Nervous and excited for this appointment.

BIG News!

So I have taken a LONG hiatus from this little blog - but with working two jobs and planning our wedding, I didn't have much energy, truthfully, to sit down and write.

Here's a quick recap of what has happened since my last post. As I wrote last, I was assistant teaching 2nd grade. The teacher I was teaching with was pregnant and went out on maternity leave in April, so I took over the class. I decided at the end of the year though, that maybe elementary teaching wasn't my place - mainly because I just don't think students, their parents, and society are what they used to be and it was a challenge.

However, as I didn't want to completely leave teaching, I asked to be reassigned and will be teaching high school English. Big jump. Challenging. But I think I'll survive.

We also did this:

And THEN, we did this with two of our friends...as a joke...

But then THIS happened...

Now that you've been brought up to speed I should probably warn you that I'll be doing weekly updates on my pregnancy.  Not because I want to brag, but just so I have a visual way of keeping track of this time in our lives - and hope you'll enjoy following along.
 :)
